For Pete,creativity and humour and evoking a feeling and a memory with the viewer are important. Heres my latest watercolour painted from a sketch that I made last month on one of our local beaches. Quarter Imperial size with Winsor and Newton paints. It was a cold day but bright and fresh. I didn't see any pirates!

Another from my recent Nov 06 trip to Scotland Watercolour-14" x 10" on 200lb Bockingford paper. It was a very fresh Scottish day at this charming fishing villlage. I think this painting sums up the experience.

I visited Edinburgh a few weeks ago and this is a small pen and watercolour from a photo that I took while there. Its always busy with great views from the top!I hope that I captured some of the atmoshere.
