Sally Nelsons Gingerbread Shop


This one was painted in Grasmere in the Lake district UK. The gingerbread shop has been there for years and years and the bread tastes heavenly!! A must visit if you are in Cumbria.

Helmsley - North Yorkshire


Visited Helmsely last weekend. First time I'd been there for a whileand it was very picturesque full of blosom. This watercolour on Saunders 10" x 7" is looking up the street towards the church. Notice the large white ducks coming out of the stream!

This is a very famous and much painted castle in Scotland. I aimed to capture the mysterious atmosphere of the place in watercolour. I painted this on site on an easel as I looked at the castle a few hundred yards away.

'Pirates Cove' South Shields NE UK

Heres my latest watercolour painted from a sketch that I made last month on one of our local beaches. Quarter Imperial size with Winsor and Newton paints. It was a cold day but bright and fresh. I didn't see any pirates!
